Eldon Turkey Festival 2023 – Saturday, September 30th

Head to Historic Downtown Eldon for the 37th Annual Eldon Turkey Festival on Saturday, September 30th! Enjoy a smoked turkey leg while you shop around the various vendor booths. Listen to live music at one of the two stages. They will also have a parade, children’s carnival, bounce houses and other activities at this family-friendly event.

 

Fall Big Bass Bash – Saturday, October 7th to Sunday, October 8th

If you like to fish, you won’t want to miss one of the largest bass fishing tournaments in the country, the Lake of the Ozarks Fall Big Bass Bash. The person with the largest catch will walk away with $100,000! Tons of other cash prizes will be awarded throughout the day, with over $325,000 in total payouts. Register online now here, or in person at PB2 at the Grand Glaize State Park on Friday, October 6th. You can also register in person at all weigh-in stations on Saturday or Sunday.

 

Versailles Apple Festival – Saturday, October 7th to Sunday, October 8th

The 43rd Annual Olde Tyme Apple Festival will be happening in downtown Versailles, Missouri from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, October 7th and 9 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, October 8th. This award-winning festival is attended by thousands of festival-goers from all over the Midwest. Family-friendly activities will include a parade, various craft and food booths, a car show, fiddle contest, apple pie and much, much more. This is one event you won’t want to miss!

 

Lake of the Ozarks Fall Boutique Crawl – Saturday, October 7th

Calling all shopping enthusiasts! Checkout the Lake Area’s best boutiques during this collaboration between area boutique owners on Saturday, October 7th from 9 AM to 6 PM. Enjoy this amazing shopping experience by picking up a punch card at any participating location. Use the map to get your card stamped at ALL participating shops for a chance to win some great gift cards. Take advantage of in-store promotions, and indulge in refreshments, amazing fashion, accessories, home decor and more!

 

75th Anniversary Celebration at Bridal Cave – Saturday, October 14th to Monday, October 16th

This year marks a historic 75 years that Bridal Cave and Thunder Mountain Park have been in operation. They’re excited to celebrate this “Diamond Anniversary” with exclusive events and prizes from October 14th-16th. On Monday, October 16th, you can enjoy tour prices from 75 years ago, at $1.25 for adults and $0.50 for kids. They will also be having a “Grand Reopening” Ribbon Cutting at Noon on Monday the 16th.

 

Osage Beach Fall Festival 2023 – Saturday, October 14th

Among our favorite fall activities at the Lake of the Ozarks is the Osage Beach Fall Festival! Head on over to the Osage Beach City Park on Saturday, October 14th from 10 AM to 4 PM for a family-fun fall event! There will be live music, vendor booths, a pie eating contest, petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house, food & drinks. And new this year will be the Dragon Smoke BBQ Competition!

 

Fall Harbor Hop 2023 – Saturday, October 14th

Obtain your poker hand by hopping around to your favorite waterfront locations! Sign up by making an optional $20 donation at your first stop. Collect additional cards by visiting 6 more participating locations. The hand is complete when the 7th card is drawn! The event starts at 9 AM and you will need to turn your hand in by 7 PM at your last checkpoint in order to qualify for prizes, which are based on the entry donations.

 

Apple Butter Days – Friday, October 20th to Saturday, October 21st

The annual Apple Butter Days at the Camden County Museum are back! From 9 AM to 4 PM on Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st, you can enjoy everything apple! Homemade apple butter, apple pie, crafts, gifts etc. will all be available for purchase.

 

Alhonna Fall Classic Buddy Bass Tournament – Saturday, October 28 to Sunday, October 29

Alhonna Resort will be hosting their annual fall 2-day bass tournament the weekend of October 28-29 from 7 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and 7 AM to 2 PM on Sunday. The tournament entry fee includes breakfast at the Blue Cat Lounge at 6 AM each morning. There will be a 100% payback of all entry fees, with prizes awarded directly following the weigh in on Sunday.

 

Miller County Business District Fall Crawl – Saturday, November 4th

On Saturday, November 4th from 4 PM – 1 AM, the Miller County Business District is hosting a Fall Crawl. Grab a wristband for just $10 and ride the buses to each bar all night long! The kickoff event will take place at Uglies Cantina on Friday night. There you can get discounted wristbands, listen to some great music and more! There will also be a pre-crawl party at The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar on Saturday from 1-4 PM. Participating locations include: Alley Cat’s, Brick House, Casablanca, The Encore Grill & Sky Bar, JJ Twigs, Lucky’s, Neon Taco, Shawnee Bluff Winery, Tucker’s Shucker’s and Uglie’s Cantina.
